Using YourStoryYourWay
YourStoryYourWay connects actors, singers, bands, film studios, musicians, writers, record labels, companies and reporters. By using the service you agree to these terms and the Community Guidelines. Use your own identity, keep account access secure and provide accurate information. Do not impersonate others or share another person’s account.
No accounts are permitted for children under 13. Users aged 13–17 require parental or guardian consent. This policy does not mean a parental-consent verification system has already been implemented.
Free social access and paid plans
Free members can use the social feed, follow, messaging and groups, with a limit of 3 articles and 1 hiring job. Hiring and applications are free. Paid plans are purchased on booktoreel.com, not here. Starter is £3/month with 100 one-time trial credits; Pro is £19/month with 500 credits/month; School is £49/month with a weighted shared pool of 1,000 credits/month and a hard cap of 10 seats; annual Pro is £190/year with 6,000 credits/year.
The purchase screen on booktoreel.com must state the price, renewal period, cancellation arrangements and included features before payment. Shared login and automatic subscription synchronisation between the sites are not yet confirmed; do not assume an upgrade has transferred until your account shows it.
Your content and permissions
You retain the rights you own in films, songs, writing, photographs and other uploads. You grant the service a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process and display content as needed to provide the features you use. Sharing does not transfer ownership. Only upload material you are entitled to use, including permission for a person’s likeness, performance or voice.
You must not upload prohibited crude, sexual, hateful, harassing, fraudulent, graphic or unlicensed material. We may restrict or remove content or accounts for breaches, subject to applicable law and an opportunity to raise a complaint where appropriate.
Film services and credit spending
Credits are for generation and exports, not social use or hiring. A balance check must run before any chargeable film request; a request should not proceed if the balance is insufficient. Weighted use and the School pool cap must be disclosed before spending. The availability of film tools, casting and specialist exports on booktoreel.com must be checked there.
The supplied planning figures include Fal.ai $3.37–$13.37, ElevenLabs $6, Gemini £4, managed data hosting $25, AWS MediaConvert $0.30/min, Qube Wire $5, Telestream $10, Lovable £22/month and a Stripe reference fee of 2.9% + 30c. These are indicative third-party figures, not guaranteed prices, current supplier quotations or charges collected by this site. ProRes/MXF/CEA-708, DCP and IMF must not be described as delivered unless the relevant renderer and output validation are available.
Cancellation, refunds and liability
Credits already properly used are normally not refundable solely because you changed your mind. This does not remove statutory cancellation rights, remedies for faulty digital content, duplicate-charge refunds or rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and applicable consumer-contract rules. Where immediate digital supply requires consent and acknowledgement of losing a cancellation right, that must be obtained at checkout.
Creators arrange hiring payments and contracts privately. We do not guarantee a job, engagement, payment, income or another member’s conduct. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Changes, disputes and contact
Material changes should be communicated before taking effect where reasonably possible. The intended governing law is England and Wales, without removing mandatory protections or local court rights available to consumers in other UK jurisdictions. Contact hello@yourstoryyourway.co.uk about these terms. The operator’s legal name and service address must be confirmed before these draft terms are adopted.
