Consent & Licensing

Protect likenesses, performances and voices before using them.

Draft for review · Updated 2 November 2026. Operator details and operational commitments require confirmation before adoption. This is not legal advice.

Document permission before use

Obtain specific, informed permission for real-person photos, voices, performances and AI likenesses. Record who authorised use, permitted purposes, media, territories, duration, payment, restrictions and whether synthetic generation is allowed. A rate card or availability listing is not itself a licence.

Cast, singers and licensed likenesses

My Created AI Cast, singer rosters and Licensed Legends are proposed booktoreel.com tools. A recognisable performer, including a well-known actor such as Robert De Niro, must not be offered as licensed merely because an example is listed. Verify a licence PDF, consent video and appropriate contract proof before any permitted use.

Check relevant performer agreements, including applicable Equity or SAG-AFTRA requirements. Upload only proportionate proof and protect it from public disclosure. Third-party and union approval must never be implied without evidence.

Expiry, revocation and records

Track licence dates, restrictions, usage history and any prospective withdrawal or revocation. Stop new uses after expiry or when permission no longer allows them. Existing lawful uses depend on the actual contract and applicable rights.

Permissions Vault, automatic expiry alerts, signing-photo storage and forensic watermarking are not active features here. Watermarks can support an audit but do not create permission or prove that every use is lawful.
