No platform hiring payments
Posting jobs, applying with an optional self-tape and messaging are free. YourStoryYourWay does not collect hire payments, take a percentage, hold funds, provide escrow or make an 80% payout. Creators agree and settle any engagement payment privately. Account posting limits still apply: Free has 1 hiring job.
Agree the engagement clearly
Before accepting, agree the scope, dates, location, fee, expenses, cancellation, safety, ownership, consent and permitted use of any performance. Verify the other party independently. Do not pay unexpected recruitment fees or disclose sensitive documents without a legitimate reason.
The platform is a connection service, not the employer or a party to your engagement. It does not guarantee another member’s payment or performance. Payment disputes are primarily between the contracting parties; this does not exclude any liability the platform cannot lawfully exclude.
Genuine jobs and honest reviews
No fake jobs, exploitation, discriminatory unlawful requirements or misleading budgets. A self-tape is supplied for reviewing an application, not unrestricted commercial reuse. Applicants and job posters can access matching application tapes; general members cannot.
Job posters can mark an application hired. Reviews must be honest; a verified badge indicates the recorded hiring relationship, not that the platform checked payment, quality or every review statement. Report concerns to hello@yourstoryyourway.co.uk.
